Today, I reinvested the dividends I received from several fantastic companies directly back into their stock. It's like giving my portfolio a little extra fuel for growth!
Here's a snapshot of the dividends I received and reinvested at today's market prices: my total dividend haul came to a sweet $291.14
- HRL: $19.13
- ABBV: $114.35
- NNN: $4.97
- AAPL: $106.98
- O: $12.70
- PG: $33.01
For those who are new to the idea, dividend reinvestment is a powerful strategy where the cash dividends you receive from owning shares of a company are automatically used to purchase more shares of that same company. This can lead to a snowball effect over time, as you own more shares that then pay out more dividends, allowing you to buy even more shares.
Today's reinvestment is another step in my long-term investment strategy. It’s encouraging to see these dividends at work, increasing my stake in these companies.
